The intimate Hambrough Restaurant with its stunning sea views has now reopened to resident and non-resident guests. We have a talented head Chef focusing his skills when preparing his menu using fresh, seasonal, local Island produce presented beautifully with exciting meat, fish and vegetarian options sourced from local farms and fishermen. Bookings for dinner service are taken between 6.30pm-8.45

Sitting high above the fishing harbour in Ventnor The Hambrough, offers 5 AA Gold Star luxury boutique accommodation by the sea on the southern tip of the Isle of Wight. All but one of our seven spacious bedrooms has magnificent views of the sea and our legendary breakfasts are created using delicious locally sourced food. Just a few steps away, our sister Venue, The Ventnor Winter Gardens, is an exciting addition to our portfolio, with The Brasserie open for all day dining, its Auditorium getting booked up with shows and events, and its stunning private rooms available for hire for weddings and parties. We also have three gorgeous self catering properties – the luxurious Villa Lavinia a beautiful town house sleeping up to 10 guests just moments away from The Hambrough, the Lavinia Basement Apartment sleeping up to 4 guests, and, in a stunning setting opposite the pond in Bonchurch village, we have Quince Cottage, which sleeps up to 4 guests. Our Story

The Hambrough Restaurant & Bar sits perched high above the fishing harbour on the southern tip of the Isle of Wight. Our talented Head Chef Ashley Randle has worked with some of the country’s top chefs and uses his experiences to create his exciting menus using delicious local produce wherever possible. We open for lunch from Wednesday to Saturday 12:30 - 2:30 and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday 6:30 - 9.00 and for an amazing Lunch on Sunday from 12:30 to 2:30.
