Our Story

We moved from The New Forest in 2019 to visit a friend on the Isle of Wight and decided to explore the property market. We found this lovely old coach house with outstanding sea views, in a serene location in St. Lawence. This area of the Island has its own micro-climate and there are lots of exotic plants and trees. The Ventnor Botanical Gardens is within walking distance. We saw the potential of what a wonderful home this could be. After 6 months of renovations both upstairs and down, we have now been able to complete the bed & breakfast we always wanted to acheive. Having never visited the Island before we were very much in awe of the many lovely beaches & coastal paths, especially those that are right on our door step. We have the lovely town of Ventnor that is a 5 mintue drive from us, offerng many pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes. the coastal public footpaths, many that we have not had a chance to explore ourselves yet, are within walking distance from the property and offer breath taking views of the sea. We even have a public footpath that runs beside our property that takes you to the old 12th Century Church and the Peace Garden, offering outstanding views of the sea. Everything the Island has to offer is only a short distance away. With so many attractions happening on the Island, many all year round, there is never a moment that something is not going on. The world famous Isle of Wight Music Festival in the summer, Village fetes, Beer & Bus tours, Manor houses to visit, The Needles Experience, Cowes Regatta and so many more. We have been able to complete a self contained pet friendly bed & breakfast holiday let on the ground floor of our home, this has a double bedroom with Kingsize bed, private bathroom, and open plan lounge/kitchenette. There is parking in the court yard or on the layby just off the drive. You can even bring your own bicyles or motor bike that can be stored in our double garage for overnght safety.

We offer a continental breakfast delivered to your accommodation included in the price of your stay or for an additional cost of £5 per head a Full English Breakfast is available, cooked fresh in our kitchen. We use all locally sourced produce where available in our breakfasts.
