Have you tried out either of my favourite pit stops on the way from the ferry?

- Harvey Browns farm shop - this has some amazingly tasty local IOW goodies to stock up your supplies for your stay and their scotch eggs and deli salads are my particular favourite!!

- Goddards brewery - stop to enjoy a drink or lunch on their fabulous balcony and you can stock up on local beers to sample for your stay.

There are loads of other great places to stop for goodies on the way including Briddlesford Farm, Arreton barns and that’s before you even get to the shops in Ventnor - do you have other recommendations?

Warm seas, amazing sunsets, dogs are allowed back on the beach 🐾 and we can get last minute tables at our favourite restaurants yum 😋

I confess that I still get a bit excited about going on the ferry to the island🤩 and today I got to watch a training exercise where they launched the rescue lifeboat.

I know it’s an expensive stretch of water but it keeps the island special 🥰and makes it feel like a proper holiday!

Don’t forget we have heavily discounted rates with both ferry companies so please do always ask us for a ferry inclusive price to save a few £s on your next trip.
