The asparagus are coming...!

The cottages are somewhat quiet at the moment, so we're turning some of the grassland into a much larger vegetable patch.

So far we have planted peas, sweetcorn, carrots, beetroot, potatoes, calabrese and beans, and the perennial asparagus is coming into season now. We're very happy to share these if you come to stay!

Keep fingers crossed for an early end to the conditions causing the lockdown; keep safe and be well everyone.

Would love you all to be able to see the first of our new additions. Mrs Donald Duck hatched seven but we're now down to five. Several other ducks have laid and we're awaiting them to hatch now.
