There's no surf at the moment but the flowers and beach are wonderful. Always sad to say goodbye to visiting Australians but then they managed to create this masterpiece on the beach at the weekend for us to enjoy.
Lovely, as usual, to see my neighbour Mary yesterday. She also rents out her flat on Airbnb so if you find that 1 Polzeath Court is booked then try her lovely flat upstairs. Or if you have a large party of more than 5 it makes sense to book both our flats and be all together at Polzeath Court.

Walk the new NT path directly to the old orchard and coffee shop at Pentireglaze or just go straight on down to Pentireglaze Haven (Baby Bay)

There is now a brand new National Trust footpath that links Polzeath Court with the NT footpath at Pentireglaze Haven (Baby Bay) and even the South West National Trail. You just have to cross the road and you are in the trees and on your way!
Alternatively turn right at the steps at the bottom of the valley and head up to the NT coffee shop and old orchard on the main inland footpath.

Apologies for not posting more here about 1 Polzeath Court news. To be honest you will get more local news from my North Cornwall Coast Path Walks page which is regularly updated so please check there too.
There are a few dates free over the next few high season months and if you were thinking of coming down then you can either check on the airbnb calendar and book there, or contact me direct and book with me. Airbnb fees I know can make the difference between being able to book and not booking.
Suffice to say Cornwall at this time of year is an explosion of wild flowers and we are lucky to be able to walk out our door and head off on foot to what many consider to be the very best bit of the North Cornwall coast... And then be back in time for breakfast, lunch or tea!
In a couple of weeks I have an all German TV crew from ZDF here for a couple of days filming. Not only me and my Beach Art but also Port Isaac crab sandwiches, Padstow's Prideaux Place and the south coast's Eden Project.
