We are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the High Weald and we are neighbours of the extremely picturesque Bewl Water. Our farm is ‘in the middle of nowhere’; surrounded by our own fields and woodland, and quiet country lanes. We have approximately 200 acres of grassland, arable and woodland. A trip to Bluecaps will give you the chance to immerse yourself in nature. Frequent visitors are
rabbits, deer, buzzards and owls. The historical town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is only a short distance away, and is easily accessible by train or car for those who would like to pay a visit. If you prefer a trip to the beach, Hastings or Camber Sands are a short drive down the A21. Our farm is a working farm. We work the land and make our own hay. We also breed llamas and run llama treks from our farm. Please see our Bluecaps Llamas website for further details www.bluecapsllamas.co.uk
We also breed Fell Ponies, a native pony of the UK which is also an endangered species. In addition to our Fell Ponies we also have a range of other equines including four miniature spotted horses, a Shetland and Welsh pony, and a Friesian horse. We also take in liveries. Finally, to complete our family, we have two dogs (Lucia and Frieda), four cats (Anoushka, Mungo, Arrow and Munchkin), and our five Pygmy goats (the crazy gang)!
