Beautiful Campers Meet Bernard. Handsome chap isn’t he? He is a Volkswagen T2 Early Bay camper. We’re keen for others to enjoy escapades with Bernard, so he is here to hire!

Bernard is a 1972 Volkswagen T2, Early Bay camper available to hire for family adventures, romantic get-aways or as the perfect car to get you to your wedding or prom. Bernard comes all the way from California at a time when Elton John was just a rocket man and we were wearing our flares with, well, flair! It’s always been a dream of ours to own a campervan for family adventures, but we never drea

med it would be a van as dapper and smart as our Bernard. Bernard is perfect for your family holidays, romantic get-aways or so you can travel in style to your wedding or prom. He can sleep 2 adults in his fold down double bed and a third adult or 2 children in his pop top. He comes with a whole load of camping accessories to make your glamping adventures easier. Bernard has a gas stove, leisure battery, fridge, electric hook up and all the cooking bits and bobs you may need. He is in tip top condition for a gentlemen of his age and will take you, albeit at a leisurely pace, anywhere within his 100 mile a day limit. Bernard is left-hand drive and has many original features. He is therefore more suited to an experienced driver.

Out exploring the North Yorkshire coastline for suitable mini-moon destinations for our Bernard. Runswick bay has an absolute belter of a view and is a beautiful coastal village to visit. We wouldn’t recommend driving Bernard down the hill to the beach- the walk back up nearly killed us! Especially since we had to push the ever growing dora in her pram! But there’s a car park at the top and the pretty village is well worth the walk down. This mornings view was spectacular. Top tip: don’t play cards against a magician after a few wines. 🎩🪄🚙🏖☀️🌊

Autumn may be creeping in but there are still some sunny days left! Autumn also means the end of peak season for Bernard. He’s had a busy summer! For September and October you can hire Bernard for just £110 a night. If you’re staying at a campsite, Bernard can be fitted with a heater to help make your stay more comfortable and cosy. Our coolest camper yet! Little Seb here loves cars and engines as much as his dad so a few days away in Bernard was just the ticket. Seb and his family borrowed our inflatable awning to attach to Bernard. It gives just that bit of extra space which is much needed when travelling with little people like our Seb here! 🚐😊☀️🏕
