What could be better than waking up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach just a few meters from your tent? This is back to basics camping on our 20 pitch beautiful campsite in the village of Walberswick in Suffolk. With pubs, cafes, shops and a playground in walking distance you can enjoy a few peaceful nights under the stars. Open July 22nd to September 4th 2016
There are no facilities on the site but public toilets are a few meters away.

Thank you all for your comments regarding our recent post about the future of the Beach campsite.
We understand that the Landlord is taking over the operation himself, and although we have had no correspondence to inform us of his intentions, we believe that there will still be camping at Walberswick, however, it will not be overseen by the Haw Wood Farm Team.
Regrettably, at this moment, we don’t have any details on how, when, or if you'll be able to book for the 2026 season.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of Walberswick Beach Campsite. Our landlord has terminated the lease, and unfortunately, we have no grounds for appeal.
For over 40 years, this site has been more than just a campsite; it has been a backdrop for generations of memories. We have watched children grow up here and return with their own families. We know how deeply this loss will be felt by our community.
It has been a privilege to share this precious space with you all and
we are truly sorry to see this chapter come to an end.
Thank you all for your support and friendship over the years.
We will miss you all and the unique space that was Walberswick Beach Campsite 🧡
