You will find us a minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach in the village of Walcott on the North Norfolk Coast, with amenities within walking distance and many beautiful places to visit nearby. Bowsend Chalet is situated on a small friendly well kept site offering you the chance to explore the North Norfolk Coast whilst coming back from a great day out to a warm welcoming modern chalet , we are

very lucky to be only a minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach , ideal for swimming, sunbathing, family fun, surfing and fishing. The chalet offers. 2 bedrooms , 1 double and 2 singles , a good size main living area with flat screen tv, central heating, dining area, the kitchen has a cooker, fridge microwave and coffee machine. We offer every stay a welcome pack to get you ready for the start of your holiday in North Norfolk which is complimentary from your hosts Gary and Jane

The site is within walking distance of the convenience store and post office, fish and chip shop, cafe and ice cream parlour and there are 2 pubs close by both serving local ales and good food, a short drive away are more takeaways offering Chinese, kebabs and Pizzas

We have loads for you to do and see during your stay where you will find Cromer, Sheringham,Mundesley Great Yarmouth and Norwich only around 30 mins away, with many more seaside towns and villages to visit should you wish to explore further.

Norfolk has been named amongst the top 20 staycation destinations of 2023 by Sykes Holiday Cottages. Our magnificent county placed seventh with the likes of Cornwall, the Scottish Highlands and Northumberland taking the top spots. In first place was Yorkshire, which is the most desirable UK touring destination for 2023.

A poll of 2,000 adults revealed the favourite destinations on people’s holiday lists after 50 per cent said they planned a staycation this year rather than jetting abroad due to the cost of living.

Wow! Excellent, excellent, excellent! Lovely chalet, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent communication from the owners and easy check-in. There was a welcome basket with so many helpful items, really thoughtful. The provision of bed linen and towels was so helpful. The location is superb. The chalet park is beautifully maintained and well laid out. There is easy access to the beach and you can hear the beautiful sound of the sea from the chalet. Excellent amenities nearby. A perfect holiday base in a beautiful part of North Norfolk. We really hope to be able to return and would recommend this chalet to everyone
