A special moment for Royal Iris of the Mersey ❤️
On Sunday 29th March at 10:30am, she’ll receive a water-cannon salute off Pier Head as she retires from service after decades on the River Mersey.
If you’re nearby, listen out for the whistles and horns marking the occasion — a fitting farewell to a true local legend 🚢

Many local residents are concerned about the potential safety and environmental risks and feel there should be a full independent review before this project goes ahead.
