It's MONDAY, and it's the start of a BUSY OLD WEEK here at the TA

Firstly, we've got all of our GREAT weekday deals on as per usual, including the increasingly popular WINGS WEDNESDAY (so please book a table if you're thinking of participating 🐔)

And secondly, for the first time this year you'll be able to catch us BURGERING ABOUT the local area, on Wednesday evening at the Red Lion in Cholsey, and on Friday with our old pals at Amwell Springs 🍻

Wherever you may be, I'm sure we'll bump into each other somewhere (providing you're in either Wallingford or Cholsey)

On the day we set aside to celebrate all things Mothers, here at the TA there’s one in particular that I think deserves a shout out

From being a fantastic role model and caregiver to two youngsters, to doing a spectacular job putting up with me not working very conventional hours, and missing a LOT of bedtimes when I’m out pouring pints or flipping burgers.

Myself and the kids are incredibly lucky with everything you do for us, and if pubs could be grateful, ours would be, for all of my time you allow it to take up

Do YOU have what it takes to be a BURGER MAESTRO?

After almost 3 years, our wonderful chef Phoebe has decided it's time to move on to pastures new, and whilst we couldn't be happier for her, we've got some shoes to fill, and so, we're looking for someone who wants to join our back of house team and help to run our little kitchen!

Whilst training can and will be provided on the job, some previous commercial kitchen experience would go a long way, and we would prefer that applicants hold a level 2 food hygiene certificate

We can offer either full OR part time hours, and can generally be quite flexible (although some evening and weekend availability is essential)

Above all else, we're looking for someone who is reliable, committed, and will fit well into our existing team, so if you aren't sure you meet the above criteria, but think the job looks like it might be for you, please don't let that hold you back!
