We hope you all had a wonderful if not different Christmas day. We missed you all at the hotel this year.
The hope is that the decisions having been made to close for community safety will pay off early next year with less transmissions in DOT .

A big thankyou to the team at the CO-OP for their dedication in supplying us with the essentials and luxuries of life.

Now that we are in tier 4 for the foreseeable future we will miss the NYE celebrations but wish you all a happy and prosperous time moving into 2021.

The guys are looking forward to seeing you all again ..

Until then Take Care and Keep Safe.

Sean and the team.

We at the White Hart are committed to safety of our team, valued customers and guests.
Following the most up to date government guidelines, it appears that our county being placed Tier 2 is still at high risk.
This information has promoted us to delay fully opening until the next review on the 16th December, we hope at this point we all will move down into Tier 1.
We look forward to seeing you all again with an element of sociability where you can meet friends and family inside that are not part of your household. Physical distancing measures and mask wearing will still be requested when not sat at a table.
We are offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation for Dorchester residents over this “festive” period needing to house visiting family. The hotel reception is not fully manned, bookings can be made at www.white-hart-hotel-dorchester.co.uk

As situations around us change by the hour due to Coronavirus, here is our current stance.

Coronavirus and Oxfordshire Hotels

In the grip of the Coronavirus our highest priority is the safety and wellbeing of our teams and guests. We are being advised by the Government daily, during these unprecedented times.
We plan to remain open as long as we can, whilst we have been advised to minimise social contact.
While we develop the ways we try to serve our communities we will remain open with high precautions. To allow social distancing and avoid crowding in the bar all tables will be well spread out and numbers reduced. We will clear all tables of glasses, crockery and cutlery to allow people to sit anywhere in the pubs or restaurants. Allowing space to eat, have a drink or just do some work.
We have ever changing daily issues but a pint, a glass of wine, or a bite to eat is sometimes a necessity; a nod or a smile from across the room is always welcome.
We are offering take-away menus from all our kitchens, and we have tremendous villagers offering to help if someone needs a delivery. Give us a call and we’ll help sort it
Menu’s and food offerings will be flexible so please give us a call.
Thank you for supporting us over the years - if you have made bookings with us and need to change please let us know so we can try to meet everyone’s needs.
