Dorset on lockdown

I’ve never used this page for anything other than business posts but felt that this particular petition is extremely relevant.

For quite a while we’ve been mindful of our environmental impact. We’ve already taken steps in this area including using more eco cleaning materials, LED bulbs, ethically sourcing food, fair trade etc. We also switch off all the TVs as part of the housekeeping process. It has helped to reduce our electricity bill whilst also ensuring that electricity isn’t being wasted on standbys.

It would be excellent if all the hotels and B&Bs took this small step to help reduce their carbon footprint.
