Had a lovely time at the beginning of May cycling to for the bluebell trail and a scone with a cuppa.

The bluebells were spectacular, it was special cycling through them on the pathways.

Then we stopped by at the church for a cream tea and we’re lucky enough to meet Roger and Scarlet 🐎 on their journey around the 30 Hillforts of Dorset. Such a great journey raising funds for .

We had a lovely few hours on a guided tour with one of the Volunteers . It was so special and such a glorious day. We were lucky enough to hear the first cuckoo (promptly reported to base via walkie talkie).

We learned how many of the ponds were created by WW2 bombs - now peaceful respite for dragonflies and damselflies.

Lots of our guests love spending the day here and we were so happy to remind ourselves how so lucky we are to have this magical place on our doorstep.

The sample food was a great bonus 😄….. It was hungry work!

Enjoy the diverse scenery and take a quiet moment at our local site.

Lovely to visit St Martin on the Walls church and look at all the lovely Christmas Trees. So many in there and the approach with the hand made wooden trees by Wareham Men’s Shed.
