Introducing the best and most convenient way to travel to and from Swanage in those warm summer evenings… introducing the Sunset Shuttle 🌅

Our summer evening diesel service is back with a new name and a new offering for 2024. The Sunset Shuttle will be running on selected dates from late July to early September. Travel on this service is 50% cheaper than standard day travel, however if you would like to travel earlier in the day on our steam or diesel service then your return or rover tickets will also be accepted on the Sunset Shuttle at no extra cost.

Are you looking for something fun to do this half term? Well we have the just the solution with a nice saving for you all too…

For the Half Term week we are offering “Kids for a quid”, where children aged 5-15 can travel for £1 when accompanied by a fare paying adult. We can never guarantee the weather, but a trip out at Swanage Railway is guaranteed fun rain or shine behind one of our heritage steam or diesel trains!
