Located in the heart of the Purbeck Hills, the farmhouse has stunning views across open fields to Corfe Castle. The original farmhouse is mentioned in the Doomsday book but was destroyed by fire in the early 1800’s. The present house was built in 1862 of local Purbeck stone as a manor house for a member of Lord Eldon’s family before becoming the farmhouse in the early 1900’s. Our family partnershi

The land continues north up to the Purbeck Hills which runs through to Swanage, with the whole area now being recognized as a World Heritage Site. Bradle Farmhouse is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is the perfect retreat for a relaxing break in rural Dorset but within easy reach of Dorchester, Poole & Bournemouth. Whether you are aiming to walk, enjoy the landscape and wildlife, have a romantic break or lazy getaway, we will do everything we can to make your stay a great experience. After 42 years worth of breakfasts I have finally hung up my apron!!! We are moving just down the road still on the farm and my son Mark and daughter in law Laura will move in and continue to run the B&B.
We will be closed for July and reopen on the 1st August.
Thank you to all my guests over the years I have enjoyed meeting you all, and have made some good friends & lovely memories.
The next chapter of our lives begins in a lovely house we have designed knocking 2 cottages into one. Please feel free to knock on the door and visit. Laura , Mark & family look forward to meeting past guests and welcoming new ones as they set out on their new adventure.

We shall be re opening for guests on the 17th May so I am looking for a housekeeper/cleaner Monday - Friday and possibly some weekends. Two to two and a half hours daily from 10 am onwards. Your duties will include cleaning and tidying the guests rooms, changing bed linen, ironing and general housekeeping duty’s. Must have a good eye for detail as a high standard is expected.
