Castle Farm Campsite

Castle Farm Campsite Castle Farm is a very quiet rural camp site with spectacular views over the Somerset Levels. There are 12 electric hook ups and a chemical disposal point.

The area is popular with walkers,cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen but there are plenty of other attractions close by. In the field we have 3 showers, 6 toilets, a washing up area and a fridge freezer. Barbecues are fine and we can provide bricks to put underneath. Your neighbours will be Jeffrey, Percy and Albert the alpacas, sometimes cows and sheep and maybe escapee chickens! Ruby and Rex

the farm collies are often about too. We also have a Sea Harrier jump jet for you to see.The nature reserves of Westhay and Shapwick Heath are a short drive or cycle away but you can often see the birds from the campsite, especially swans, herons and birds of prey. We are a 10 to 15 minute drive from the M5, Cheddar, Wells,Wookey Hole,
Burnham-on-Sea, Glastonbury and Street(Clarks Village). We are about 30 minutes from Weston-Super-Mare. Longleat, Bath and Bristol are all under an hour. Supermarkets can be found in all places mentioned above and we have a village shop in Wedmore which is about a mile away.

Castle farm holiday lodges are available for booking. Heron and Swan lodge, each lodge sleeps 4 adults and 2 children.
