Thoughts, lovely guests. Should we replace the two ring combi oven, the microwave and the air fryer with this? And add a single hot plate for frying. Or are the cooking options ok?

Had such a lovely surprise today when our lovely guests presented me with this! What talent! And he did it in just 2 days. It seems that not only are Gurkhas the toughest, best and bravest soldiers in the British Army but they are also very artistic! Yes, we were very proud to be able to host a Gurkha and his fabulous wife via the initiative. They were lovely, respectful and polite guests that we were honoured to meet. We encourage any other hosts to donate some breaks to this brilliant scheme that gives service personnel much needed connection time with their loved ones.

These are some of the fun things we have done this week, all a short drive from the Lodge. Geoff had a flight in a Tiger Moth, Lily and the other kids went on a Segway Safari and I came spectacularly last at archery! Next week we might try air rifle shooting, quad biking and axe throwing. We did the flight at with and the Segway and archery at Devon Country Pursuits - Devon Activity Centre . If you’d like us to help you book it just get in touch. I can highly recommend a Segway safari as a great fun way to spend an hour or so!

If you fall victim to the wiles of Noo Noo, this is what happens! We ask that you try to resist him in case future guests are allergic to cats. (We know he is hard to resist so we suggest you cuddle him outside and send him packing before dusk). And, yes, he does actually meow “hello” quite clearly!

Morning All! We seem to have accumulated a stack more followers overnight! Welcome to you all. If you’d like to book a break, please go to our website as it’s the cheapest place to book. If you’d have a discount code don’t forget to enter it. Any problems, give me a call or text. And just a reminder, I’m sorry but we don’t accept pets and we can accommodate two adults and one child.
