A sad tale of betrayal
We are devastated to say that Ebenezer Cottage has closed its doors for the last time.
For generations Ebenezer Cottage has been in the Adcock family, and for those who knew Maurice he loved having people stay. It would not have been his wishes, and it certainly is not ours, but the owners have decided to sell. There are Wells people having to move inland who are desperate for houses, but more than likely Ebenezer Cottage will go to some wealthy person from out of town who will destroy the history, build on the green garden, and stop locals living in their town. If you have a spare £1 million then perhaps you can help?
Simon and Jo are truly sorry that we cannot continue providing you with a lovely place to stay in a lovely seaside town. It has been a place of such happiness and fun. We think they are betraying Grandad's wishes. We fought, but sadly have lost. Thank-you for being great guests over the years, thank-you for your support & kindness, and goodbye 👋❤️.
