A slightly different post from our usual Tern 32 updates…
On Saturday, Ellie and I completed a 26-mile walk along the Norfolk coast for Dementia UK, in memory of my wonderful mum.
It was such an uplifting day, although very emotional too. It was sad to see just how many families have been affected by dementia, but lovely to hear everyone sharing their stories and memories along the way.
The walk also reminded us just how beautiful Norfolk is. We walked through places we had never seen before and enjoyed some absolutely stunning coastal scenery along the way. We are so lucky to have all of this right on our doorstep.
It was very hot, and the last three miles seemed to go on forever but we were very pleased to finally cross the finish line.
If you would like to explore beautiful Norfolk when it is a little cooler, we still have some December dates available at Tern 32.
It is a lovely time of year for wrapping up warm, enjoying peaceful coastal walks and then heading back to our cosy caravan.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us. Our fundraising page is still open if you would like to donate:
