Wells Holiday Park is exclusively for adults (over 18) purely to offer a relaxed atmosphere. Wells Holiday Park is a long established family owned restful holiday park in the midst of beautiful countryside, in the heart of the West Country. You are assured of a warm welcome and a friendly

atmosphere. Wells Holiday Park is a quality touring site, ideally located within a close walking distance of the historic City of Wells with its spectacular Cathedral and Bishops Palace and the village of Wookey Hole with its magical caves and mill. Are central position is also ideal for visiting Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Bath, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Glastonbury, Street and the Somerset Levels. We offer a wide range of pitches from a simple Grass tent pitch to a full service pitch to take up to 14m RV. The site has been very well designed over the last 3 years with new all-weather pitches, so you and your caravan/motorhome can keep clean what ever the weather and enjoy Wells 365 days a year. The new spacious facilities block with it’s under floor heating is great for these winter visits. The local buses run past the front of the site with stops right out side. Also in reception/longe bar we offer
(Gas, Bread, Milk, biscuits, Ice Cream, Alcoholic beverages, Tea, Coffee and cakes. We also have a take away service which will deliver straight to your pitch.

What an evening! 🌘✨

Eclipse night at Wells Touring Park brought out the astronomers, the eclipse chasers… and a few creative viewing methods.

From one of our staff enjoying the spectacle, mask and drink in hand 🍻, to our customers watching through a colander 🔭, and finally capturing the eclipse through the C Star telescope — we loved seeing everyone get involved.

🚗 Important Travel Update for September 🚗

A little heads-up for anyone visiting Wells Touring Park between 1st–28th September 2026.

There is a planned closure of the A371 near Draycott/Rodney Stoke while essential gas network upgrade works take place.

Please don’t let this put you off your visit! ❤️ Wells Touring Park will be open as usual and accessible throughout – you may simply need to follow a diversion or allow a little extra time for your journey, depending on which direction you’re travelling from.

We recommend checking your route before setting off and following the latest diversion signage rather than relying solely on your sat nav, as some of the smaller local lanes may become busier than usual.

We’ll keep an eye on the situation and share any useful updates or recommended routes nearer the time.

We look forward to welcoming you to Wells Touring Park – the peace and quiet will be waiting for you when you arrive! 🌿🚐💚

🍎 On Saturday 26 September 2026, Wells Cathedral will be hosting its celebrated Cider and Cheese Festival.

🧀 The Festival offers a chance for people to come together from across the county and beyond to celebrate what makes the South West unique, whilst raising a glass and important funds to support the Cathedral!
