Islington House B&B and Wrinkle Mead Self Catering

Islington House Bed and Breakfast in Wells, Somerset is a 17th Century farmhouse set in two and a half acres of grounds, uniquely situated adjacent to The Bishop’s Palace. Surrounded by fields and parkland it is just a three minute walk past the moated Palace to the historic Wells Market Place, city centre and the magnificent Wells Cathedral.

The farmhouse still retains its character with beamed ceilings throughout and inglenook fireplaces in the kitchen and lounge. Originally a working farm, Islington House was given to the Church Commissioners in Queen Anne’s Bounty and has been privately owned since 1892. St Andrew’s stream runs through the property.

Islington House has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with en suite facilities. Cooked breakfasts are served each morning and all guests benefit from wifi.

Wrinkle Mead Self Catering is a stunning two bedroom riverside stable conversion of the highest standard, situated within the grounds of Islington House.
