Commercial Laundry Flatwork Ironing Machine Operator

Swift Laundry Ltd is looking for a reliable and hardworking Flatwork Ironing Machine Operator to join our growing commercial laundry team.
You will be responsible for operating our commercial flatwork ironing machine, producing high-quality finished linen for hotels, holiday lets and other commercial customers.
Duties include:
- Operating a commercial flatwork ironing machine.
- Feeding sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and table linen into the machine.
- Checking finished linen for quality and presentation.
- Folding and stacking finished items.
- Keeping the work area clean and organised.
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a commercial laundry (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided).
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Take pride in producing high-quality work.
