Situated within the historic heart of one of the most picturesque cities in Somerset, this traditional property has been beautifully restored combining a contemporary style with period features, creating superb accommodation available throughout the year. Known for being the smallest city in England, Wells is awash with stunning medieval architecture, the finest of which can be seen in the Cathedr

al and the adjoining moated Bishop's Palace and gardens and Vicars Close - the oldest occupied street in Europe. Within the nearby high street there is an array of boutique shops, a deli, cafes, pubs, restaurants and a farmers market held every Wednesday and Saturday in the cobbled square. In close proximity is Glastonbury which is surrounded by the Somerset levels with its many nature reserves and idylic bicycle rides, in scenic contrast but equally nearby is Cheddar and Wookey Hole caves in the Mendip Hills for breathtaking views and walks. You will find artisan independent shopping in nearby Frome and outlet shopping at Clarks village in Street which also has an art deco outdoor lido (summer only). Slightly further afield is the Unesco historic city of Bath with its Roman Baths and Georgian architecture, Exmoor National Park, Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House & Gardens, Tyntesfield House near Bristol's suspension bridge, the East/West Somerset Steam Railway and very many more attractions. The accommodation is set over three floors, offers ONE bedroom: on the second floor, double bed with space for travel cot and en-suite shower and WC. Kitchen/diner: with electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and dishwasher, on the ground floor. Outside: small patio area with table and chairs and exclusive use of garden area. Amenities: roadside parking, fresh bed linen, towels, electric, central heating, lockable shed for bicycles/pushchairs etc, drying area, large supermarket 100m away. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Location: shops, pubs and restaurants within level walking distance (100m). - You'll need more than a week!
