🔥Help reduce the risk of wildfires

Dry weather and ground conditions can make it much easier for wildfires to start and spread quickly. Please help protect yourself, local communities and the environment by taking extra care outdoors:

🚫Do not start fires.
🥪Swap BBQs for picnics.
🚬Discard ci******es responsibly.
🗑️Clear away rubbish, bottles and broken glass, as they can magnify the sun and start a fire.
📞🚒See a fire? Call 999

All fires are emergencies, especially in current dry conditions. If you see a wildfire, keep well away from the area. Do not attempt to tackle the fire yourself. Call 999 immediately and give the location as clearly as possible.

‼️Important notice ‼️

With the current situation of wildfires in the area and the extreme drought we have made the decision to put a temporary ban on ALL barbecues and any sort of fire on park. We also politely ask that any cigarette butts to be safely discarded.

The safety and security of everyone is our utmost importance as well as keeping our park safe. The local fire brigade is already overstretched and we would like to do our part by making sure not to add more strain on them.

We thank you all for your understanding, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
