Roots brings some seriously good chefs, open fire cooking, independent wines and long table dinners to the farm this summer. Each menu is shaped by the season and what is growing just a few steps away.
27 June | Italian Spritz Night
Spritzes on arrival, Italian sharing plates and a long summer evening in the garden. Relaxed, generous and made for passing around the table.
17 July | Francesco Mattana
Sardinian born chef Francesco Mattana brings his take on Italian cooking to Roots with bold flavours, brilliant produce and a menu built around the farm.
31 July | Ember
Our neighbours from Ember take over the fire for one night only. Expect smoke, flame and big flavours served straight from the garden.
15 August | Amber Francis
Great British Menu 2025 Champion of Champions Amber Francis takes over Roots with a colourful, produce led menu shaped by the season and grown just metres from the table.
29 August | Humble Grape x Roots
A proper food and wine night. A farm led menu paired with brilliant bottles from independent winemakers selected by Humble Grape.
5 September | Mel Brown, The Laundry
Mel Brown brings her love of outdoor cooking to the market garden with generous plates, open fire flavours and New Zealand wines around the long table.
Fire on the grill, bottles on the table and the last light over the garden.
