L O B S T E R R O L L

Summer means Lobster Roll for us. Each year Ed ups the deliciousness and this year is no different. East coast lobster gently poached. The shells are then made into a deeply rich bisque before being reduced and added to a house made mayonnaise.

Served in a daily made brioche bun, soft & sweet and finished with crisp onions & fried sage. A side of fries and a glass of exuberant rosato, this may sound like an M&S ad but it’s real and it’s heaven and made with love for you.

We’re beyond excited to announce Marty O'Reilly will be playing live and direct on Friday 10 July right here in Mersea.

I’ve been a massive fan of Marty since first hearing him in Kelvedon 12 years ago thanks to James Partridge - he’s performed twice The Sun Inn Dedham with his band and both gigs were historic.

His voice is incredible, so full of storytelling and expression, his guitar playing mesmerising and soulful. This is his only East Anglian performance as part of his UK solo tour and comes hot on the heels of his amazing performance on The US Voice where he thrilled among others snoopdogg Michael Bublé

We’re thrilled he’s going to be with us, you do not want to miss it.
