And honestly? Hastings in the summer is just stunning

Grab fish and chips from Maggie's on the seafront, proper ones, eaten on the beach.
Walk the Old Town and find St Clement's Caves if you haven't been.
End the day at The Crown on All Saints Street with a local ale and no plans.

Ibiza called, we told it we were busy. ☀️

With the hot tub bubbling, lounge doors flung open, and a glass of something cold in hand, one of our recent guests said they genuinely forgot where in the world they were. That sun trap garden does something to you.

Another 5 star review and this one meant a lot.

When guests mention the hot tub, wood burner and peaceful setting, that’s lovely to hear.

But when they mention the hospitality and the fact we were able to help when they accidentally locked themselves out at midnight… that says even more.

We’ve always wanted Vine Cottage to be more than just a place to stay. A proper escape, with thoughtful touches, comfort, and hosts who genuinely care.
