Maybe we’re biased but actually the coastal path walk from Westward Ho! To Clovelly and then on to Hartland is more striking than Lynton & Lynmouth 😉

North Devon’s coastline is just as breathtaking in winter. It’s quieter, full of dramatic scenery, and absolutely perfect for a refreshing seasonal stroll.

Woolacombe Beach offers crisp sea air and plenty of space for kids and dogs to run free.
Baggy Point in Croyde is ideal for a short family walk with incredible ocean views. The Lynton & Lynmouth cliff path is a favourite too, pair it with a trip on the iconic cliff railway and explore the peaceful coastal woodland trails.

After your walk, warm up with a hot chocolate in one of North Devon’s cosy cafés. Appledore and Instow are especially lovely for harbour views and a touch of winter charm. ☕✨
