Video support at Download Festival for Zig Zag Lighting limited🤘

For Download Festival 2026, AV Matrix Ltd had a team of 9 video techs working with our friends at Zig Zag Lighting to ensure correct set ups and smooth running of multiple video solutions for artists across a number of stages. Here’s what we provided:

🔸 Avalanche Stage - 8m x 4m upstage screen inside tent with live camera relay using one of our Pixelhue P20 Video Switchers.
🔸 Avalanche Stage - 7 x 4m PlatformLED trailer screen outside tent to relay content from inside.
🔸 Dogtooth Stage - 6m x 3.5m upstage screen with switching and band graphics.
🔸 Hellfire Stage - 7m x 4m PlatformLED trailer screen for live camera cooking demos and food eating competitions.
🔸 Doghouse Stage - Three 3m x 3m upstage screens for screen management, switching, artist graphics and animations.
🔸 The Den - 2.5m x 2.5m upstage screen for graphics and name slides.
🔸 Flexibly deployed 5m x 3m PlatformLED trailer screen for Ace of Spades and The Outpost stages.

Our services included playing adverts and safety messaging on all screens as required.

Download Festival is a mammoth rock event based at Donington Park, the spiritual home of rock. With Glastonbury on a fallow year, Download is the biggest music festival in the UK this summer.

Trafalgar Square London, iconic venue for outdoor community events 🏛️🫶

AV Matrix Ltd has provided outdoor mobile LED screens in Trafalgar Square London for a variety of cultural events as part of technical production services organised by event production agency LS Events. Some of these community events have included a Together Alliance & House Against Hate multicultural gathering, an Open Iftar for the Ramadan Tent Project, “St Patrick’s Festival London” showcasing Irish arts & culture, and “Diwali on the Square” celebrating light, hope, and unity for all.

Our mobile LED screens help magnify messaging, branding and live entertainment across site allowing attendees to fully engage with the programming of each respective event.

London landmark cultural events like these take place year round which isn’t an issue for our hi-res trailer screens as their digital displays are stunning in sunshine, rain, dusk, or darkness. LED screen hire for FIFA World Cup 2026™ UK fanzones ⚽️🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We’re pleased to be providing screens for the The New Inn Eccup, and partner pub Myrtle Tavern Meanwood in Leeds to help them host World Cup experiences for their customers.

The New Inn is showing video of all World Cup games using an outdoor modular 3.5m x 2m LED screen from AV Matrix. For England games and outdoor movie screenings they’re also adding one of our sound systems. The Myrtle Tavern meanwhile has deployed one of our outdoor waterproof TVs.

So England’s World Cup campaign began last night with an impressive victory over Croatia! This made it two great starts for Scotland and England 👏

AV Matrix Ltd was pleased to supply BW Ventures with a 7m x 4m MobiLED trailer screen for a community screening of the England match at the ground of Hull Rufc. The display was crystal clear for fans to enjoy the action at dusk.

🏇 Bringing horse racing action & branding closer to fans with LED screens!

We were happy to be back at Musselburgh Racecourse for a Friday race meeting followed on Saturday by the Edinburgh Cup Raceday in partnership with Edinburgh Gin.

AV Matrix Ltd provided a variety of LED screens to bring live coverage, interviews and branding closer to attendees. Our screens included:

🔸 Two 7m x 4m PlatformLED trackside trailer screens providing uninterrupted coverage of racing and interviews for attendees across the hospitality viewing area. Our provision included fibre optic signal distribution from broadcast provider RaceTech.
🔸 Two 3.5m x 2m modular LED screens in the trackside Linkfield Lawn marquee for broadcast coverage and after-party visuals.
🔸 A 4m x 3m Main Stage modular screen displaying race coverage, branding/sponsorship placement for Edinburgh Gin and the Slater Menswear Best Suit Competition, plus on-screen lyrics and visuals for Massaoke Ltd who performed for the after-party.
🔸 A 4.5m x 2.5m modular LED screen in the Edinburgh Gin Hospitality Marquee showing racing.

The AV Matrix team was proud to provide complete technical production for at the Eco-Power Stadium, Doncaster, supporting an outstanding line-up that included Jamie Webster, Sea Girls, Ash, Lucy Spraggan, Newton Faulkner and many more across three stages.🎸

Working in partnership with festival organiser Andy O’Grady from the earliest planning stages through to final delivery, we supplied and managed all aspects of the event's technical infrastructure, including staging, rigging, audio, lighting, video and power distribution.

Main Stage Audio:

The festival's main stage featured our flagship TT+ Audio GTX system, comprising:
🔊 24 x TT+ Audio GTX 10 line array elements
🔊 12 x GS29 dual-19" subwoofers configured in a central cardioid array
🔊 GTX 10 front fills
🔊 12 x d&b audiotechnik M4 monitor wedges
🔊 d&b V-SUB and Y10P side-fill system

The system delivered exceptional coverage, clarity and low-frequency performance across the arena while maintaining excellent rear rejection and minimising stage spill.

We were particularly pleased to receive outstanding feedback from visiting engineers representing artists including Jamie Webster, Sea Girls, Ash and Lucy Spraggan, many of whom were experiencing the TT+ Audio GTX system for the first time and commented on its power, clarity and overall sound quality.

Lighting & Video:

Across the Main Stage, Acoustic Stage and Dance Tent, our lighting teams deployed an extensive package including fixtures from Martin, Ayrton, Robe, Chauvet, Acme, Portman and Showtec, all controlled via Avolites consoles.

Video content was delivered via INFiLED 3.9mm LED screens, including a 4.5m x 2.5m stage backdrop and DJ booth LED display, powered by a dedicated media server running Resolume.
