Mobile screen package extends soap box racing action to community! 🎥⏱️🔊🏁

Team AV Matrix Ltd was delighted to supply Crewe Krazy Races 2026 with a 7m x 4m mobile LED trailer screen (sponsored by Zzoomm), PA system, timing system, and camera package. Working as part of the event production team for Krazy Races in partnership with Crewe Town Council, our technical services helped capture and broadcast live soap box race action.

Our screen displayed each team’s pre-race performance, the karts and timer as they went down the course, plus the awards at the end of the races. During gaps between races, our screen showed sponsors and adverts. Our outdoor sound system made it possible for attendees to hear announcements and race commentary. This fantastic, fun-filled community event featured many outstanding soap box designs and engaged thousands of spectators on a sun-soaked day.

Krazy Races racing continues on Sunday 21st June 2026 for the first ever Krazy Races Soapbox Derby in Sheffield 💜🏎️💜

Slam Dunk Festival rocks it again with head-turning production!🤘🎸

It was a treat last week for AV Matrix Ltd to again be part of the talented technical production teams for Slam Dunk Festival North & South.

Our crews provided IMAG screens for four stages across Slam Dunk Festival South (Hatfield Park) & North (Temple Newsam Leeds), plus full camera packages for both sites. Our IMAGs for the North were 4m x 7m 3.9mm modular LED screens, and for the south, we provided four flexible LED trailer screens, two 7m x 4m 4.6mm & two 5m x 3m 3.9mm.

For American rock band and headliner Good Charlotte, we additionally supplied two 12m x 6m 3.9mm upstage LED backdrops plus custom LED riser floor packages for their North & South Main Stage performances respectively. These screens enhanced LED production for all Main Stage acts and created fantastic visuals for the awesome Good Charlotte sets.

We also provided a DJ setup for the VIP area with distributed sound system and radio links to artist bars. And for good measure, we created a truss goal post with rigging for photo opportunities!📸

Slam Dunk Festival is the UK’s biggest independent rock festival, celebrating 20 years of pop punk, emo, metal, metalcore, ska, and much more.

Attendees without a clean line of sight to stage were able to enjoy high-quality footage and the festival atmosphere of Radio 1’s Big Weekend performances via our mobile LED trailer screen positioned behind the Main Stage FOH Control.

You can see our hi-res 7m x 4m open platform trailer screen relaying Olivia Dean’s joyful live set to fans in an area that would otherwise have restricted viewing.

🎪🎸Extending R1BW performances to more fans with LED trailer screens!

As part of the fantastic Far and Beyond production team, AV Matrix Ltd was thrilled to be supplying two 7m x 4m LED trailer screens for Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026 at Herrington Country Park, Sunderland.

One of our mobile screens was relaying live event footage and info to fans outside the New Music Stage tent, while the other screen was positioned behind the Main Stage FOH Control ensuring great views of live performances and festival atmosphere for more attendees.

Our team has deployed our Open PlatformLED trailer screen models which feature one central mast and no frame. They’re great for events that require optimal in-crowd viewing and they're super quick and easy to set up.
