A fabulous return trip day out on the Swanage steam railway today. Starting at Norden, travelling through Corfe Castle before reaching the seaside town of Swanage and back.
Fantastic train journey, lovely well cared for train and stations and all the staff clearly care very deeply about their roles.
Swanage is fab too, quirky shops, fish n chips or plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs or book fish n chips on the return train journey.

About 40 minutes drive away is a fabulously quirky pub The Square and Compass in the village of Langton Matravers. It's a small museum too and is very popular with walkers as it sits on the Southwest coast path. The village is close to Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge and Swanage and a lovely stop off point on a tour around the Isle of Purbeck.
