A very Weymouth Weekend ☀️💨🌊

We took a little wander around Weymouth Harbour and along the beach this weekend, and what a difference a few hours can make!

The harbour was absolutely buzzing, with boats coming and going and plenty of people enjoying the sunshine. ⚓️⛵️

Then the wind really picked up and the sea put on its own little show — the white horses were spectacular! 🌊🤍

It’s days like this that remind us just how lucky we are to call Weymouth home. ❤️

A little pause this weekend… ✨

The Georgian Tea Rooms won’t be open this weekend as we have some previous commitments and, with The Angove Guest House being so busy, we’re taking a little time to rest and recharge.

We’ll be back next weekend, ready to welcome you for delicious afternoon teas, cream teas, cakes, coffee and a little Georgian indulgence. 🫖🍰

What a fabulous evening with friends at Olivetto — delicious food, great company and the perfect spot to watch the third fireworks display from their balcony! 🎆🌊

The views across Weymouth Bay were simply amazing. ❤️

⛵️🌍 After 37,500 miles and an incredible circumnavigation, Greg finally found safe harbour at The Angove for some well-earned rest and family time. ⚓️💙

Greg Were, 35, from South Africa, is a solo sailor who has sailed around the world aboard his tiny 20ft yacht, completing an incredible journey from Falmouth that began in July 2024. 🌊⛵️

It was lovely to welcome him to The Angove while recovering and spending some precious time with his family.
