Very quiet at the B&B. Made an economical soup with roasted sweet potatoes, red onions and garlic. Added above to two tins of tomatoes and whizzed up. Bay leaves from the garden.
Fried off some chunky granary bread and topped with grated Parmesan.
Four portions for £2.50. It’s a beautiful crisp and sunny day in Abbotsbury . Heaven

The time has come. Electric blankets on all guests beds and the winter thick cosy duvets back on. All lovely and freshened up from the laundromat.
I had gorgeous Liberty print curtains made for this room and happened to be perusing the French catalogue La Redoute so have bought eight matching pillow cases.
They probably have had duvet covers but think that would be too much.
