Farming isn’t easy most days, but today has been harder than most.

After 17 years in partnership with a company, we’ve received the news that they have gone bankrupt. To make matters harder, we haven’t been paid for our busiest months. All guests who arrived at the end of July, August and September, we have not received your payments.

For our farming family, this is a huge blow. Glamping has been a vital income, helping us keep our farm going.

We’re not giving up, but we need your help.

Our glamping is still open, and every booking, share and recommendation will make a real difference as we try to recover some of what we’ve lost.

Who's up for a walk or run in the beautiful countryside to raise money for local charities?

With just under 3 weeks to go until race day, we're sadly in the unfortunate position where we currently don't have enough full marathon entries to make it viable to run the event with the number of marshals needed to cover the course.

So, if you had been considering entering but hadn't yet done so, please head to our website and enter *before* Sunday 13th September.

We also need more volunteer marshals so if you can help in this way please email [email protected].

The event takes place on Saturday 26th September from Bagwell Farm Touring Park and follows a beautiful route offering spectacular views.

Have you met Emma? She is an integral part of our maintenance team, tackling any job with a great balance of enthusiasm, care and attention. Emma is taking this weekend off to take part in the Coast to Coast Challenge - a gruelling 50–60-mile hike across the hills of Somerset and Devon raising money for the Veteran's Hub in Weymouth Her team is called Benji's Bandits. Hasn't it been a fabulous day? The birds are really enjoying the feeders and waterfall in the bird garden. It is such a peaceful place to sit and relax!
