Chesil Beach stretches for 18 miles along the Jurassic Coast and is one of the UK's most iconic shingle beaches.

Late August means the school holidays may be nearly over, but summer certainly isn't.

Weymouth's famous summer fireworks will light up the bay on Bank Holiday Monday (31st August), making it the perfect excuse for a final family getaway before the return to school. The display is scheduled for 9.30pm over Weymouth Bay.

Imagine spending the day on the beach, grabbing fish and chips by the harbour, enjoying the fairground rides and finishing the evening watching the fireworks reflected across the sea. 🎆🌊

From full-speed beach zoomies to completely worn out on the sofa afterwards… safe to say she made the most of it 💛

We spent the day out exploring the coastline, and even took her along for a birthday dinner at Rockfish (which was just as good as ever 👌)

It’s exactly why we love welcoming dogs at Sunnyside, holidays are for the whole family.

From baking equipment and digital scales to mixing bowls, cookware and plenty of crockery, the kitchen is set up for everyday family use.

We also provide the basics like oil, salt, pepper and vinegar, so you’re not starting from scratch when you arrive.

Whether it’s breakfast before heading out, a simple family supper, or baking something together, Sunnyside gives you the flexibility that self‑catering should offer.

Located on the main esplanade they offer a range of amazing cocktails made in front of you by a trained mixologist, Tom Cruise style 🤩!
