Well this was something a little bit different and very special! As we walked up to the farm this beautiful, haunting tune reverberated round the hills and piped dus onto the site. Thank you to our lovely customer, such a treat! If you could stand outside our house at about 6am you could be my wonderful alarm call ❤️

Check the page for opening times but if you like a rummage, like collectables, like vintage toys, this is a nice little find, tucked away but worth the visit.

To an extent Google Maps is correct but the gate for that side is always locked and often blocked either side

Should have been grass cutting today but an appointment took me into town briefly. Whilst I waited for small boy to finish, I headed for the beach.....
Easterly winds keeping the temperature manageable on yet another stonkingly glorious May day in Weymouth
Spaces available in our quiet little field so call Gary to be 2 miles from this lovely beach....

And just like that, bookings are picking up. It's been a slow start, the weather has been changeable, the wind has been quite brisk ... But we're looking forward. Forward to the cloudless blue skies and warm sunshine we're forecast for the Bank Holiday (🤞) and to all the fabulous things that Weymouth puts on during the season.

Everywhere is thick with hawthorn, elder and cow parsley, our very very favourite time of year, the scent is everywhere especially in the evenings and the hedgerows are dusted in white

The weather forecast isn't brilliant today, but the entertainment forecast is looking stunning!
This afternoon's offerings from The Tin Cat Bottomless Brunch 2-4 or 6-8, line dancing from 5 (we're definitely down for that!) making cowboy hats, food...... What more could you want.... Give them a call or just turn up and get stuck in 🤠

Blessed Beltane to all who celebrate it, the first proper day of summer ☀️ ❤️☀️
It's been lovely today, not at all what was forecast but then we don't always stick to the rules down here! 😁
There were the Beltane Border Morris dancers down at the stone pier by the Nothe dancing in the summer this morning, but we chose to get up at the crack of sparrows fart to watch the sun come up over Weymouth beach. A spot of fire dancing and paddling in the sea (gods it's cold!🤣) and then back to the office job for 9-5
But the Bank Holiday weekend is here! Never mind the bit of rain they say we're going to get, we absolutely need it and there's still tons to do in Weymouth, places to eat, indoor crazy golf, live music, even a country and Western themed bottomless brunch at The Tin Cat Plus if it's going to be damp where would you rather be, at home or here in a quiet field in a south west corner of Dorset with the river trickling out to sea just behind your camp?
Still spaces left for this weekend, go on, take a chance and drive on in
