The Anchorage is a family run guesthouse offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. Perfectly located by the Condor ferry terminal and the Pavilion Theatre.

Situated just a 'stones throw' from both the golden sands of Weymouth beach and the picturesque 17th century harbour. Weymouth harbour had a little visitor today 🐬 right out the back of us and he hung around for most of the afternoon 😁

Weymouth Armed Forces Day celebrations and parade yesterday. 13 of our guests were involved or family members of those involved. They have been coming to Weymouth for many years to celebrate and for some this was their third summer staying with us at The Anchorage.

It’s bank holiday weekend and summer is on its way ☀️
Weymouth is busy this weekend - there’s a gig rowing competition between local towns in the bay, the harbour is full of yachts, there’s a funfair in the pavilion car park and ‘Fayre in the Square’ over the other side of the harbour in Hope Square. Plenty to keep everyone entertained including live music, food and inflatable fun! And what lovely weather for it!!

An unexpected guest arrived on our doorstep tonight. We always try to accommodate but our “no pets” policy meant we couldn’t allow this one in 😂

This yacht is currently moored directly behind us. It’s The Bristolian and is so tall you can see its mast towering above our building from the other end of the bay! Such a different sight and receiving a lot of attention from tourists and locals alike!
