As the summer season draws near, many are keen to relax on a stunning beach, and the great news is that you don't need to travel far in the UK to discover an amazing spot. Weymouth in Dorset, England has previously been praised by the Guardian as an "unsung beach town" - a hidden treasure often eclipsed by its more renowned neighbouring resorts.

What a fantastic photo of just one of the fabulous places to visit whilst staying with us.

WHAT A NIGHT!!! I've been up since 01:00 this morning and after years of not really taking astrophotography seriously, I thought it was about time I dusted off my Milky Way gloves and give it another good go 😍

I'm sure this place needs no introduction to my and I recommend you turn your screen brightness up to max when viewing this for a bigger impact...

This was the core of the Milky Way at 04:30 this morning which for the first time, I tried stacking 25 x 10 second images in Starry Landscape Stacker to reduce as much noise as possible, with a 4 minute exposure for the foreground (in-between head torches) to produce my latest attempt of photographing the night sky 🌌

Hope you all enjoy this one, and would love to know if you'd like to see more Milky Way photos, as I'll be making the most of the clear skies this week!
