Hi everyone,

The Somerset BBQ Kitchen will cease trading on the 26th of October. The accommodation side will remain available until November 30th after which we will be closing the hotel for a refurbishment until March 1st 2020.

This will allow us time to refurbish our beautiful building as well as adding something a little different.

We would like to say a big thank you to all our loyal customers, many of whom have become friends over recent years, along with past and present employees. It’s been an amazing journey and it was a blessing to have shared it with you all.

The Somerset BBQ Kitchen will be running as normal over the next 6 weeks, so please feel free to join us for a farewell pint and some ribs 🍺.

⭐️⭐️ It's ON! The Burger Beast Challenge tickets are now available to purchase.⭐️⭐️

Do you think you've got what it takes to consume our massive 10 patty bacon cheese burger, portion of fries, slaw and cobb challenge? Here's your chance to prove it...

Tickets are £25 and must be paid upon purchasing. The Burger Beast Challenge will be held at The Somerset House Hotel & BBQ on Sunday 30th June. We only have 25 tickets available and the tickets will be sold on a 1st come 1st serve basis. There will be 5 challengers taking part at any one time and there are rules, such as you must be over 18 to take part 😉

The 1st place winner will be crowned our Burger Beast Champion and will receive the meal for free, a £25 cash prize and a Burger Beast T-shirt. To be the winner, all you have to do is be the fastest challenger.... simple right?
2nd place will receive the meal for free and a Burger Beast T-shirt and all challengers who complete in under 30 minutes will receive a Burger Beast T-shirt. 😀

Hi Everyone,

You may, or may not know that we've been on television this week on Channel 4's Four In A Bed and we are very happy to say we came second!!!

The last episode of Four in a Bed has just been aired and we’re so pleased to have come second. It was an extremely eventful couple of weeks and we met some incredible people.

Should you wish to see any of the episodes featuring our lovely seaside town of Weymouth it can be seen on Channel 4's catch up where our Weymouth was featured in episode one.
