The Willerby is situated on a private farm in Weymouth. It is a quiet, rural location on the Jurassic Coast with fantastic views across the horse fields to The Fleet, Chesil Beach, Portland and the sea. We are not part of a holiday park so please don’t expect entertainment and swimming pools. What we offer instead is a relaxing, peaceful break in a beautiful spot of Dorset and a warm friendly welc
ome. This is the place to breath in the fresh sea air and let your worries drift away. Our ducks and chickens are normally wandering about, and there are horses, sheep and cows in the fields. Plus lots of other wildlife to look out for. Take in the amazing sunsets over the sea, then gaze at the starry night skies. We are right on the South West Coast Path with dog-friendly Pirates Cove just a short walk away. Opposite our fields is The Fat Badger pub which is dog and family friendly. We are just 10 minutes from the main town of Weymouth, the Old Harbour, main beach and many attractions which makes The Willerby an ideal base for exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. The spacious 2 bed caravan sleeps up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms - one double room and one twin room, plus a double pull out in the lounge. The garden could also accommodate a small tent for an additional 2 people if required but must be agreed at time of booking. We are dog friendly and welcome up to 3 house-trained and well-behaved dogs. The garden is fully enclosed and if you bring your own throws or blankets then they are welcome to snuggle up on the sofa with you. However, we do not allow dogs in the bedrooms or to be left unattended in the property. FAQ...
What do I need to bring? Please bring all your own bedding - sheets, quilts and pillows as well as your own towels. All mattress covers will be freshly washed and we provide a freshly washed tea towel, hand towel and oven gloves for your use. The caravan is self-catering, so please bring your own food and drink etc, or there are various local shops and supermarkets nearby. There is a fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, utensils and saucepans provided for your use. What time can I access The Willerby? The Willerby will be available for your use from 3pm on your arrival date. If you’re planning to arrive after 6pm or are running late, please let us know so we can make arrangements for you. What time do I need to leave? Check-out time is 10am unless otherwise agreed. Please leave the caravan clean and tidy. What is the access like? There is parking on gravel right by the gate into The Willerby’s garden. There is a short slabbed path and 3 steps with a handrail up to the front door of The Willerby. The back door is accessed across gravel and up 1 step.
