Not only did he single handedly set up 2 stages, he also sound checked ( when he could), did one gig and took photos in between!

🏴‍☠️🍻 WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY MENTAL PIRATE WEEKEND!! 🍻🏴‍☠️

Where do we even start?! 🤯

Pirate Weekend was absolutely INSANE from start to finish. You lot came out in force, partied hard, danced, sang, drank… and quite literally DRANK US DRY! 😂🍺🏴‍☠️

A MASSIVE thank you to every single person who came through our doors and helped make the weekend what it was. Seeing the place packed and everyone enjoying themselves made all the madness completely worth it. ❤️

🎸 A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE BANDS & MUSICIANS! 🎸

Playing a gig is hard enough, but playing through that HEAT with a packed venue in front of you is something else! 🥵🔥 Every band absolutely smashed it and kept the party going regardless. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for better entertainment throughout the weekend.

But the biggest shoutout has to go to our BAR TEAM. ❤️🍻

Without them, this weekend would have been IMPOSSIBLE.

They were absolutely run off their feet. They dealt with huge queues, ridiculous amounts of drinks, stock disappearing faster than we could replace it and every problem that got thrown their way — and somehow they just kept pushing on.

Whenever something went wrong, they dealt with it.

Whenever the bar filled up again, they cracked on.

Whenever they were exhausted, hot and desperate for five minutes to themselves… they still kept going and tried their absolute hardest to make sure EVERYONE GOT SERVED. 🍺

It wasn’t an easy weekend behind that bar by any stretch, and we’re incredibly proud of every single one of them. ❤️

And finally, THANK YOU TO YOU LOT!

Apologies to all but we are closed today and Tuesday for a well needed deep clean after pirate weekend that also mean no quiz on Tuesday sorry for inconvenience, but our other venue The Black Dog Weymouth will be very much open on Tuesday

🏴‍☠️ THE FINAL DAY OF PIRATE WEEKEND IS HERE! 🏴‍☠️

Well… we’ve somehow made it to SUNDAY! 😂🍻 After an absolutely mental Pirate Weekend so far, the crew at The Tin Cat are still standing… just about! ☠️

Our team are drained, exhausted and probably running on nothing but sweat and partly covered in b**r also pure determination at this point 😂🍺 They’ve pushed on through all weekend, working their arses off to try and make sure everyone who’s walked through our doors has had a brilliant Pirate Weekend.

So if you’re joining us today, please be patient, be polite and give the crew a smile ❤️ And if you’re feeling particularly generous… maybe offer to buy one of them a drink for when they finally get to put their feet up! 🍻😂 They’ve certainly earned it.

But we’re NOT FINISHED YET! 🏴‍☠️ Today’s final day is absolutely packed with live music:

And you’re not drinking on an empty stomach either! 🍳🍔🍟 Our Scallywag Scran is being served today, with breakfast from 8am, including Full English breakfasts, plus pirate favourites including BBQ pulled pork rolls, loaded beef burgers and loaded fries. We’ve also got homemade soup & a roll and beef stew & a roll available on the bar. 🤤

The bar is open from 10am, so come down, grab some food, get a pint in your hand and help us finish Pirate Weekend the only way we know how — GOOD MUSIC, GOOD COMPANY, PLENTY OF DRINK AND COMPLETE CHAOS! 🍺🏴‍☠️🎶

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us this weekend, and an even bigger thank you to our exhausted crew who have kept the ship sailing through it all. ❤️
