Black barge' is a 5 minute walk from The Portland Cottage past Portland Castle and before the Marina or 2 minutes if you skirt below the castle walls along the waters edge 😎
This little area of Portland is home to a few points of interest including The Portland Pizza Company restaurant, Riptide Espresso & Records cafeRiptide Espresso + Records cafe, The Island Sauna, Portland Seaweed Spa and not forgetting Black barge beach itself - great for swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling.... Definitely worth a wander round to check everything out 😊

Too soon to talk about cosy evenings in after a bracing beach walk? Perhaps as the sun is still shining but we have lots of autumn & winter availability including Christmas, short breaks, mini breaks🌲🌟🎄
