Hello all,
Here's a brief break from my constant travel updates. I know, I know, I shared them all a while ago while I was actually travelling, but it's as good for my memory as for you to enjoy, especially if you didn't see them the first time around.
Anyway, I digress.
This is to advertise The Darling Kittyland Love Sanctuary π±β€π±, a sanctuary that my wife Maricel and I are creating in the Philippines. Why? Because we keep rescuing abandoned or abused cats and kittens over there, and they need somewhere to live!
We have 20 so far, I think, and Maricel is currently looking after them on her own as I am back in the UK. We are trying to decide on the best place to house them (and the sanctuary) where we can get people to help care for the cats. It is currently a full time job for her, as she has 9 young kittens to look after, 5 of which are very young (just a few weeks old), that were abandoned and alone.
Please, if you love and care for cats, like and follow this page. It all helps us and gives us a boost, emotionally. If you would be interested in donating towards their care costs, this would be amazing and much appreciated. The food and washing costs alone are adding up right now - the babies keep toileting themselves everywhere so constant cleaning of clothes and bedding is required!
I haven't set up any mechanism for donations yet, but please let me know in a message if you would consider donating (or not) so I can gauge how much support we have.
I will set up a charity and bank account here in the UK, and a means of donating to it, as it is much easier to do here than there. And yes, all money will go to the welfare of the cats and kittens. :)
