The Old West Rectory The Old West Rectory is a family home which also provides some accommodation, close to Osborne House

We currently have two spare rooms that we let out, one is suitable for a couple, the other is larger and can hold up to 3 people and a baby. And for all our guests we provide a continental breakfast or, for a small extra fee, we can do you a full English (using locally sourced ingredients where we can). We don't have television here, but we have plenty of books and a reasonable wifi connection. Mo

I have created this page to publish ongoing work and updates to the house to keep our previous (and future) friends and guests updated with anything we may do to improve the place. Bear in mind we've been working on it for 27 years, so it is an 'ongoing project'! And of course, comments and suggestions for improvements are always welcome :)

A belated Merry Christmas to all of our Old Rectory fans 😊😊😊♥️
I am still not back there, my mother June is running the house (it is hers, after all!) with my brother James, so have a Christmas photo of some cats from the other side of the world! Well, almost... 😁

Please remember that you can still book to stay at The Old Rectory if you are visiting the Isle of Wight, it is close to the ferries from Portsmouth and Southampton, and very close to Osborne House. And yes, we do have Royal Heritage there 👑
