Due to the extreme heat wave and the now red weather warnings in place we now have to cancel sessions for today. Even with a hose pipe to spray us all!!
So very sorry to disappoint
But it is so important to be safe in this kind of heat

THIS WEEK IS HOT!!

We will be planning lots of water based activities and games.

If you are Farm Tots we will not be going to the brook as too hot on the tractor ride to get there but do bring towels as we are doing water fun.
If you are here this week please bring towels with you!

ALL THE WATER IS DRINKING WATER!

We make sure all the children have sunscreen on, stay in the shade and drink plenty of water. We refill their bottles A LOT.
We have the hose pipe on us all to keep cool too.

Holiday Club this week!

It’s HOT!
Please make sure children are wearing trousers, t shirts and trainers.
Long trousers seem hot but they stop straw rash from the bale climb and the hay bales seats on the tractor ride. Up at Forest school they help to prevent ticks. We have never had any ticks but long trousers help and really help against stinging nettles. We don’t cut the orchard grass in May so the grass is long and the children like to run and hide in the grass so again long trousers help against grass rash.
We have fresh drinking water on tap so a refillable drinks bottle is a must have.
We plan to play water games if the children want to and the trees work well to shade us all.
Please put sunscreen on your children before they arrive and put spare in the bag for them.
We will keep them hydrated and in the shade!x

Lots to do, helping to teach baby calves to walk on a halter, grooming the donkeys, helping in the garden and cooking on the fire! Lots of fun to be had!

Water and snacks included

This month our goats are due to have babies! And although they are not due to the middle of May they still need lots of fuss made of them.
Up at camp there is lots to do in our organic garden and we will be toasting some marshmallows as requested by the children.
Plus we have our straw bale climb back for us all to play on!

Our Bale climb is back, tractor & trailer ride is back so we can go out to the fields to see the cows and calves and the ewes and lambs!
Up at Forest school w will be cooking up some yummy treats to eat, helping in our forest school garden, den building and making arts and crafts!
