www.saltwickwhitby5.co.uk Nestled in a picturesque country village, just a short drive from the coast, our beautiful house is an ideal retreat for families, couples, or small groups of friends looking to explore the beauty of North Yorkshire.
- please note that we are a dog friendly cottage. Enjoy the perfect combination of a pretty coastal home with all modern amenities, ensuring a warm and comfortable stay, with a great location, well positioned for local shops, towns, beaches and days out. The style that Saltwick has to boast about is evident as soon as you enter the property. The open-plan living room has three comfortable sofas, coffee tables, and a flat screen TV, with the kitchen and dining area being situated at the rear of this space. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, ensuring that you can enjoy your self-catering stay with ease, whilst the dining area has enough seating for all guests. There is also a breakfast bar sharing this space. Guests will also have use of a downstairs WC and large utility area. The garden can be accessed via the dining space. With a grassed area and patio, all secured by a tall wooden fence, guests of all ages can take in the fresh air and enjoy the outdoor space that Saltwick has to offer. A spacious hot tub is positioned on the secluded patio and is perfect for star gazing on a clear night! Upstairs on the first floor is where you’ll find three of Saltwick’s four bedrooms. One super king size, one king size and one single. The super king room also has an en-suite shower room with a WC and wash basin. The family bathroom can also be found on this level and it has a bathtub, separate shower, WC and basin. Upstairs on the second floor is the fourth bedroom which also boasts a super king size bed. An occasion single chair bed can be set up in this room for a small 8th guest (this cannot be moved due to space restrictions). What’s more, there is also an en-suite available to guests calling this bedroom home. All beds at Saltwick will guarantee guests a solid night’s sleep thanks to the Emma mattresses, plush bedding and premium bed linens used to make them up. We have 4 TV's, access to Netflix, an ample board games cupboard and plenty of books to borrow! Lots to keep everyone entertained. In the garage you will also find a pool table, which is great fun for all ages!
