Raven Gill Campsite We are a Scout campsite located in the heart of the Yorkshire moors.

Two buildings and plenty of campsites available for Scouts, Guides, Schools and Youth Groups.

Our wardens this week are Margaret and Alan, they're doing a great job! They're even in the process of repainting the bench in memory of Alan Charlesworth, who was District Commissioner of Redcar & Eston between 1986 - 1998 and is still missed by many.
We think it is looking mighty fine 👌

A few notes:
》There are often other groups on site so always worth checking where you can put clues when you arrive on site.
》Groups should keep any hunts on site only and not off site through the village to keep disturbance to a minimum.
》Ensure they're sheep proof!
》Make sure you don't leave anything behind.

Due to the local fire ban, Rye Hills Academy were absolutely on point with their fire safety by bringing an inflatable campfire. They also took the safety to the next level with their inflatable extinguisher!
It was great to have them on site! Even with a fire ban, it didn't stop them from having a proper sing songs 🎶
