Sleeping up to seven guests, Oswy Street is a welcoming holiday home belonging to Harry & Zillah.

Located a short walk from the centre of Whitby on a quiet street, the property is perfectly situated to explore the seaside town. Lovingly decorated and filled with personality, you’ll have full access to the property during your stay which includes three bedrooms, a family bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living/dining space and enclosed outdoor space.

The living and dining room at Oswy Street is a great place to socialise and unwind with your loved ones. Boasting two comfortable sofas, an armchair, flat screen TV, and log burning fire; the living area is cosy and homely. The dining area features a wooden table and matching dining chairs. Packed with charm and character, Oswy Street boasts interesting artwork and a vast collection of books which you are welcome to read during your stay.

Thank you to all our amazing guests who booked through Booking.com and gave us great feedback last year. We’re delighted to have received an Award for positive feedback - 9.2/10. It is all the more special as it was the first full year of running Oswy Street privately along with our incredible house keeping team Cleaner and Greener Limited .

We read every comment and are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience at our much-loved Whitby home. One major change was adding the second sofa to the living room to provide more seating which has already had some great feedback.

Have you seen the art installation at Whitby Abbey?

An art installation honouring seven "game changers" has been unveiled at Whitby Abbey as part of the National Lottery's 30th birthday celebrations.

The Heritage Tree pays tribute to the "extraordinary impact" the seven have had on heritage and conservation, a National Lottery spokesperson said.

Those honoured include Sir Tim Smit, co-founder of the Eden Project, and Arthur Torrington CBE, who co-founded the Windrush Foundation.

The 5,400 sq m (58125 sq ft) artwork has been created using the abbey’s landscape and natural pigments painted on the ground to show the subjects' hands holding the roots of a tree.
