🐶TOTALLY DOG FRIENDLY🐶
🙋♀️ Welcome to The Secret Garden , a 2 bed holiday home in ☀️WHITBY☀️, on the North Yorkshire coast, only a 2 minute walk from the all year round dog friendly Tate Hill beach, and 1 minute walk to the cobbled Church Street
🐶 we welcome up to 4 dogs,
🐶 The garden has 4ft fencing ( higher in places. )
🐶 We have an outside light over the garden for late night toilet breaks.
🐶 Dogs are welcome in all rooms and on furniture with the use of dog blankets and throws
🐶 Flooring - the floors are laminate and stone on the ground floor, the rest of the house is carpeted
🐶 We supply a doggy welcome basket with towels, poo bags, biscuits, treats and even their own tennis ball. We also have dog bowls and beds. We have a basket of toys and dog blankets for sofas and beds.
🐶 Walkies - the cottage is a minutes walk to the 199 steps which lead up to the famous Whitby Abbey, here you can join the Cleveland Way , and have a brisk walk to the idyllic Robin Hoods Bay ( about 1hour walk) we usually catch the bus back! Or you can walk the other way and end up in the beautiful Sandsend followed by a few pints in Hart Inn ! which also does fantastic food . There are hundreds of nearby walks including wonderful scenery on the North Yorkshire Moors.
🐶 let’s eat - Whitby is the most dog friendly place I have ever been , The pubs are all dog friendly , I can think of any where I have been turned away! We also have numerous takeaways that either deliver to the house or are in walking distance so no need to leave your dogs alone
🐶 A night out - there are more than 20 pubs within walking distance that are dog friendly, and a massive variety of cafe/restaurant’s
🐶 Day out - You can visit Pickering on the North Yorkshire moors railway steam train, we usually hop off halfway at Goathland ( Heartbeat was filmed there) have stroll around and pop in the Inn on Moor for some Lunch,
Robin Hoods Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay , Staithes, Saltburn, Ravenscar are all worth a visit.
