On Day 3 of our Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales I decided to share some different photos.

This time not pictures of us cycling, but instead the happy smiling faces that we see in the moments when we take a pause from cycling.

These pictures remind me of the pure joy socialising and cycling together delivers. The scenery, gorgeous food and absence of rain all helps too 😉☀️🚴‍♀️🥰

Day 2 cycling on our bank holiday Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales was glorious (especially when we were expecting rain).

We had some fabulous home made cake in Wigglesworth and lunch at the kitchen garden cafe in East Marton.

Great ride with a lovely group of ladies. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Day 1 of our Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales was a little bit of a wet one!
Glad to be able to report that we still managed 30 miles and it was (as it often is) much better than the forecast.

Great cycling from this group of solo travellers and special praise for Catherine Tapponnier who’s fairly new to road cycling.

You smashed it ladies 👏

'I was definitely living my best life when I spent a a few days cycling in the Yorkshire Dales with Jill and Sarah as hosts. Newton Grange, a rural retreat is very comfortable accommodation. The home cooked food was delicious. The routes were so scenic and showed the best of Yorkshire leaving me with some great memories and photos. One of the highlights for me was the yoga in the sunshine after each ride - just what I plan to do at home but never happens!
Although I spent the holiday as part of a group (all of us have already booked for next year in the Lakes) I would have no hesitation in booking on this holiday as an individual. Thankyou Jill and Sarah for making it a great experience.'

Lynden Tiplady thank you for leaving this super duper review. We're very much looking forward to seeing you next year in the Lakes. 🚴‍♀️🧘‍♀️🙏

Did we save the best until last?

On day three of our Seafern Adventures Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales we cycled from Airton to Settle along The Way of the Roses route. We travelled from east to west for a less demanding climb but steep descent over the edge of Scosthrop Moor and down into settle. Coffee at 3 Peaks Cycles Bike Shop & Cafe was very welcome and I have to say ‘the chocolate torte was delicious’. 😋

Our group surpassed themselves, some flying up the hill and some conquering their apprehension about long climbs and smashing it.

Stamford Bridge Ladies you were a pleasure to host and guide around the beautiful roads in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We clocked in 40 miles on Day 2 of our Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales with the Stamford Bridge Breeze ladies.

When we got back to our accommodation at Newton Grange, a rural retreat I was impressed to find that everyone still had the energy for some restorative yoga in the sunshine. When the setting is this beautiful it would be a shame not to wouldn’t it 😉🚴‍♀️🧘‍♀️

GOOD MORNING LADIES!

DO YOU ORGANISE CYCLING TRIPS FOR YOUR GROUP?
Maybe you’ve just got into road cycling with Breeze and perhaps you have enjoyed the odd sportive? Regardless of whether you’ve been cycling for 2 months or 20 years if you’ve got a group of cycling buddies you’re probably planning to go on a cycling holiday together in 2027.

Where will you go? One option is to follow the crowd; hop on a plane and head for the Cap De Formentor in Majorca and you would not be disappointed. It’s a popular destination for a reason, great climbs, beautiful scenery and historic places of interest. However, if it's a short break you're looking for you can’t go wrong by looking closer to home in Yorkshire.

The Tour de Yorkshire has put road cycling in Yorkshire on the map and if professional cyclists give the area high praise, claiming that the scenery and the people are “simply incredible” it’s a cycling destination to be added to your bucket list.

Not many people appreciate this unless they have done it themselves...
Planning a 3 day cycling holiday will take at least 3 days to plan it properly including, organising routes, accommodation, cafe stops evening meals and sussing out bike mechanic locations. However, there is an alternative, book a with us, because we’ve done all the work so you don’t have to!

Great fun cycling on Day 1 of our Cycling Holiday in the Yorkshire Dales with the Stamford Breeze ladies and Jess Walsh-Banks.

The views of Bolton Abbey take some beating. Beautiful scenery and plenty of quiet roads, although we were stuck in a sheep jam! 🐑 Now those are the kind of traffic jams we don’t mind being held up in.
