My sister is holding a fundraiser to celebrate her 8year anniversary of having a fantastic crafting shop in Seaburn and to celebrate the life of our Dad who sadly passed away recently. Although it was a wet misty morning to walk the dog yesterday, the curlews were calling all around me. They were on the moors with the grouse lapwings and golden plovers and in the farmer's fields all around us.

It won't be long before all their chicks will be running round in the fields and heather.

A fantastic place to stay on a Snow Day. Stay snuggly warm with underfloor heating and enjoy the fantastic views all around. You may even be able to watch the local barn owl flying right past the front door 🦉
